Pat was great and right off the highway bur far enough in not to notice, seemed like most of the place had a canopy of trees and made it 10 degrees cooler than the roads even leading in. Very nice.

Woodlawn Campground is wonderful. Only 40 minutes from the beach it’s nice to retreat to some shade. Pat is incredibly nice and was wonderful with my 2 year old. We can’t wait to go back. There weren’t a lot of bugs and luckily there is plenty of wood around to save you some cash come fire time. I definitely recommend.

I don't even feel it rates one star. It is a trashy campground. I visited and turned around and left I would not stay there. Run down looking at best no one has picked up any limbs or trash there are campers that look abandoned with green moss growing on them. The lady who owns it rides around on a golf cart and is overbearing and smart mouthed. She said her parents started the camp ground 50 years ago and it appears there have been no improvements since. The picture on the web site does not reflect the condition of the area.

I actually stayed here in April 2016. I'm just getting around to reviewing now.
This is a small, older campground with no real amenities. It was fine for my 4 day stay. I was there for a dog show so didn't really spend any time at the campground itself.
The hook ups were a little confusing and as for spots, they basically told me to "pick one". I had to ask another camper to help me figure out the hook ups because the place I picked didn't have the water on the same side as electric...but it all worked out.
It's an owner occupied campground and they are super friendly.
It's a lot of twigs, dirt and trees. Not much grass to speak of except for a large lawn in front. There's also a church across the street with a large grassy area if you have a pet to walk.
If I went back to this area I'd probably stay there again if I was going for the same purpose. There was not sewer at the site, but they have a dump station.
One thing I will say and I can't really blame the campground, but rather the setting of tons of trees, there seemed to be a LOT of white spiders. I killed several in the trailer and outside, and even found a few in the trailer after we moved on to other spots.

I would give zero stars if I could. Camp site looks nothing like it does in pictures, the bathrooms are horrendous. Owner of the campground drives around in a little golf cart and neglected to inform us that the site floods very badly during a storm. Left for the day, returned and our entire camp is under water and everything is ruined. When we called the owner she told us that there was nothing she could do for us. Horrible experience would not recommend.

The area was nice. We had a very level spot with access to water, sewer, and electric. Plus it was a easy access to the main highway. The lady that runs it WAS super nice and very informative of the area we would stay again.

The owner was fantastic! Checked us in and made sure we had everything we needed. Campground was wooded and quiet. Very clean! Family and I loved the campground!

The owner is a wonderful woman and it's a nice, little, quiet campground, conveniently located near several stores!
