This is a very quiet small city, from what I saw. Lovely river walk park.

Conductors, for septa, are absolutely horrible. Them and the Amtrak police are on power trips. I understand they deal with a lot of b.s. but come on my son, 8, has never done anything but be polite and curious and they act like we got something up our sleeves. I mean if they never seen or felt w us I get it but they saw us 4-5 days a week 2x a day. Never caused 1 issue🤨

Tamara and Sean are amazing. They are angels and I really hope their boss sees this review. I had a lost item and they were so kind and really helped me out. Sean and Tamara, if you are reading this I appreciate your help so much.❤️♥️♥️

Conveniently located in downtown Wilmington, just short walking distances to the major establishments in the commercial and office district. It is clean and safe. The train schedules to the cities in the Northeast corridor are relatively frequent; the trains run on time mostly and reliable; but the fare is not cheap. Purchase your tickets as early as you can to save significantly

Good station. Clean, big. One minus: after 9 the evening nothing not works on station.

Older looking station but clean. Nice riverside park and market one block away.

This is mainly a complaint about the architecture. Until a few years ago the lower level of the station had a wonderful 19th century waiting area with wooden benches and a brick floor. They gutted it a put stainless steel everywhere and now it looks like an airport. Its a historic building, so I couldn't believe they made such a drastic change to the interior. Only historic features left are the stairway and shoe shine chairs. Gave it 3 stars since the exterior was kept original. Other than that its often dirty and the service isn't very good. Parking costs money, so I park at the Claymont station and take the train from there to Philly.

I am only giving a 5 star because of the awesome help we receive from the gentlemen at the Red Cap counter. He assisted us with instructions on which train and connections we should take for our destination. He was very knowledgeable, confidence and pleasant where another Amtrak ticket counter employee at the same station was not so nice and pointed to my phone and told me to look it up myself.

It makes me proud to have such a beautiful, historic building in my hometown.
