Our server was nice. I love that this is a BLACK-owned business. I appreciate the waiting area with books and a chess set. Gave our children something to do. I understand how hard it is for Black establishments to get the loans needed to have really nice buildings and such, but this place was a little more of a dive than I would've liked for it to be. Simple upgrades to the tables, chairs, and fixtures would go a long way. The place could also use a deep cleaning. That said, the food was decent. The potatoes were burnt as was the bottom of my daughter's pancake. The turkey bacon was also pretty overdone. My husband said his chicken was OK after he added salt, pepper, and hot sauce. I thought the grits were REALLY good and the eggs were fresh.
I noticed the head chef (owner maybe?) made a point to stop by and check on patrons. I thought that was nice even though he didn't acknowledge anyone at our table. Overall, I give the place a B -.

Friends took us their for brunch. We were the first ones in there that day. Lots of art on the walls. The gentleman was very polite and nice. The food takes a bit to get to you but that is what you get for cooked to order. Nothing pre cooked. I had the cinnamon roll pancakes. Everything came with 3 three eggs cooked as you like and a side. Everything was delicious! The pancake was HUGE! My friends had the funnel cake french toast and they said it was good. It looked so thick. Great place all around.

The owner is absolutely amazing and his energy follows. The food and atmosphere is so calming and energetic at the same time. LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THE PANCAKES WIT DA EDGES AND THE FALL APART SALMON WITH THE TREMENDOUS FLAVOR!! We will absolutely be back as regulars! 10/10 recommended!

Small business but high class service! Went on Easter so not a lot of business but the food was fantastic. I had funnel cake French toast and it was sweet but not too sweet with fresh blueberries. My husband had chicken and waffles and loved it as well. Really nice gentlemen working there and great music playing. Highly recommend. Would return!

Fun hole in the wall with home-cooked meal vibes. Couldn't of asked for a better breakfast and the service was fantastic! We are from California and this was just what we needed and a great change of pace.

Food was really good. We split the Alpha & Omega and that was some of the best chicken and scrambled eggs we've ever had. Nice atmosphere, the art on the walls was cool, and the staff was awesome. If you're hungry and in Dover, go there!

I highly recommend this spot. It has a neighborhood feel with an artsy vibe. The food was absolutely delicious. We are a family of amazing cooks so when there are no complaints, that's the jackpot. I called a week prior to my visit to make sure they could accomodate us for a late brunch after my daughter's college graduation. Without hesitation, they said yes. We arrived at 2:30 with 9 people. They close at 3. They stayed open after closing to make sure we were able to enjoy our food and celebrate my daughter. The two young men (sorry, I didn't get their names) were amazing. Be sure to support this local business when you're in the area.

Wanted to dine in, but when I came in, tables had not been wiped and food was on the floor. Could be kept cleaner. Chicken and shrimp were bland, only thing with flavor were the sauces. I spent almost $40 here and it was just nasty. The artwork around the restaurant is absolutely beautiful. Maybe they will improve their menu in the future.

I want this place to do well! Very friendly staff. They work hard.
FOOD
Got the fried/crispy salmon and grits with a side order of cajun fries. It was enough food for two people. Salmon wasn't fried but was still tasty. Red sauce was too salty and was all over the dish. Grits and toasted bread were excellent. Fries came stuck together and the seasoning was not very cajun.
ATMOSPHERE
Loved the black art, but please invest in an interior decorator. The place has a lot of potential.
SERVICE
Attentive staff. Unfortunately the kitchen is very slow. My guess is this place doesn't have a commercial kitchen or enough cooks.
If I lived in Dover, I would return!

Took my cousin out for her birthday for brunch and margaritas. No margaritas here but the food was amazing. I think we ordered everything on the menu, boffem n grits, chicken n waffles, the meal with everything. Our table was filled and so were our bellies. It was so amazing while I was eating my boffem n grits I asked the chef if he could make me another fried fish. It was better than the first. We will be back.
