The bald white guy at the window of the Savannah, Ga station is one of the rudest human beings I have ever run across in customer service. He has absolutely no tact, no respect for others and seems like he just enjoys being nasty to others rather than helping which is what he should be doing in a customer service role. Hire some new people please that fair well in a customer service job.

Savannah Station and Amtrak - a pleasant surprise in travel comfort! I recently took the Amtrak Silver Meteor 97 from Savannah, GA to Miami, FL. This was my first time traveling with Amtrak - I've traveled extensively in Europe via train, but never here in the US.nnI was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The Savannah Amtrak Station is nice - hidden away in an industrial park. I left my car in the parking lot for a week, while I went away on a cruise.nnI will definitely use Amtrak again in the future. Their Staff was friendly, and the station was clean (including rest rooms). 5 Stars all the way!
