Wow the cookies at Ryals bakery are so delicious. Me and my sister Jackie always goes there when she is visiting me from our hometown. We love the raisin bars, chocolate drop, pecan Sandies, oatmeal raisin. Oh let's not forget the smiley face for my granddaughter. Ryals you all have good cookies.

The customer service here is excellent and the prices are much lower than I’m accustomed to. The treats themselves were too sweet for me. To be fair, I’m not big on sweets. The kids and hub loved everything. The petite fours are light and huge. I hope they add a lemon petite four to the selection. My favorite item was the gingerbread cookie. The strawberry cupcake tasted of real strawberry.

We have always loved this bakery but this past Saturday, my family and I stopped by downtown Milledgeville for a treat and caught the owner as he was locking up. Not only did he allow us to come in (despite the fact that they had technically closed an hour earlier), but he was kind, patient (we have two young girls - two and four years old), and cheerful as he packed eight sugar cookies for us to take home. My girls also got a handful of plastic frogs which have been a highlight of their lives all week. Of the eight cookies, I think my husband and children each got one and I ate the other five (I'm 25 weeks pregnant and like to pretend these "treats" are for the kids...)...they were FANTASTIC! But truthfully, the sweetest part of our visit was the way we were treated. :)

Best bakery in Georgia. If you enjoy real homemade sweets from the past you can not get anything better. Brownies, cakes, pies, cookies, gingerbread men, cheese straws, petit fors, and the famous smiley face cookies bring delight to anyone. I grew up here so nostalgia takes me hard when I see the sign. Nothing compares!!!

Hometown great that's been in business for a long time. All sweets and desserts baked to perfection. As of December 28, 2021 Ryals Bakery is permanently closed after 48yrs in business. Went here as a kid. The were a staple and a must visit if you were in downtown Milledgeville. They will truly be missed.

This is my hometown. This is the best bakery over ever made purchases from. Nothing else online or anywhere ive behn compares to their brownies, petit'fors, cheese straws etc. They make the best birthday cakes for children. I got one every year when growing up. No pastries even from so finest bakeries compared to their recipes. A+++

Really disappointed in donuts today. I did not look at donuts when girl at store put them in box. When I opened box later to eat one, I noticed they were a lot smaller than previous times I have purchased there. They did not even taste very good. I called and talked to someone at The bakery. They first said that the donuts were the same as always, but she admitted that the donuts did not rise before making them that morning and sold them anyway. This is my first bad experience with their donuts. I will try one more time. If they are bad next time purchased, Ryals is history for me. Dunkin or KK. Also, I tried them one day later, they were awful.

Ryals Bakery is an amazing place with great service and baked goods. I love o stop by there on my lunch break or on a special occasion. The cookies remind me of the ones my grandmother made when I was young. I highly recommend them.
