Great place, somewhat hidden and unknown, at least for me. I loved all of the history... I've already told people that they needed to check it out.

What a great museum! Admission is free and the museum is very well put together. They do a great job of trying to keep the visit fun for kids. There is an app you can download and special decoding areas to keep the kids engaged.

There is an unmistakable connection between the NSA and this museum. If you are anywhere near Ft. Mead this is a must see.nThe staff are very knowledgeable and helpful to visitors. They have free materials for both adults and children.nI would make it a point to visit their library to see their unique collection and possibly chat with the librariannThe visit provides a unique glimpse I to the careers of men and women who assess the secrets in our nation's security. I thank them for their service.

Want to understand why we have and need the NSA? This place explains the history and gives a lot of insight into the headlines (information warfare, hacking, information security) and some great insights into the future. Allow a couple of hours, and get a tour from the docents--the exhibits are great, but the people take it next-level.
