Best little kept not so secret place... Between here and Aldis I get what I need quick and cheap. They actually have some name brand food items also. Their generic brands are awesome. They have a small in house bakery. Limited meat selection but everything else is good. I'd recommend trying it at least once. It's so much cheaper than the big commercial markets.

Super clean, friendly service, not jam packed, clean and spacious shopping carts, and excellent prices. The selection wasn't as wide as I'd like to see, but it was definitely worth the stop. I'd shop here again any day.

I've had it with Lidl. Products and prices are good for the most part, but I'm fed up with only one check out person on duty at any time. They want you to use the self check out. You know what? It's not my job! Tonight, an item rang up at the wrong price, I had to wait for some one to help, then they entered it at the wrong price, but never removed the first one. Had to call them back to remove it. Then had to ask for the actual product back! And with all of that hassle, I missed putting something I paid for in my bag and left it there. So I got ripped off anyway. Their products are not worth the hassle - I will be going to Aldi and Foodlion from now on.

This store is great...a gallon of 2% milk is $1.67. A lb of butter (sticks) is $2.43, a lb of spreadable butter is $2.75. I really like shopping here.

Dover did NOT need another Aldi like grocery/supermarket. It needs a TRADER JOE'S. Self check out machines are in the back of the store. Staff's weren't friendly on the day I visited. Prices seemed okay. Quality of the products sold not sure. I didn't shop much items.

Good stuff here. Everything for budget shoppers to finicky organic shoppers. Another German based shopping market in Dover. This discount grocery store uses good business sense to bring great prices to the customer. There is a good overall selection of products here. Just think if "Aldi" had a bigger brother that didn't need quarters for grocery carts than you would be at Lidl (pronounced Lē-dil). Every month they have theme weeks where they honor a nations cuisine or up an coming popular holiday. This adds new products to the store for greater variety. The biggest standout is the BAKERY with genuine French bakery ingredients and processes at AWESOME prices. Also, you can slice your own bread loaves thick, regular, or thin. See the posted photos.

The first day was chaotic. The parking lot was full and it was difficult getting anywhere in the store because the aisles weren’t large enough. Hopefully that will all die down once the new car smell wears off. It’s different from Aldi in that you don’t need quarters to get your shopping cart. We saw two carts discarded in the parking lot, one just 30 feet from a return station 🤨 There’s a nice bakery at the entrance and organic produce. They were handing out free reusable grocery bags the first day. There were also people bagging your groceries, maybe to help keep the wait down in line. A gentleman I spoke with says they won’t bag all the time.

This such a great place to shop with wonderful price. Similar to ALDIs . They have great pound cake and best round pretzels baked on premises

They are awesome...but I can never find peanut butter cookies anymore. I hope they didn't discontinue them
