Lefty's Alley & Eats

Bowling was great as usual. Played 2 games, relaxed, and switched over to the restaurant/bar area. The burger was tasty, salmon had great flavor (they even brought extra sauce when we asked), and the baked brie was delightful. For appetizers we had the crab dip which was just as if not better than other crab dips. The wontons were an interesting new take instead of bread or chips. Had a great time bowling and a great meal! Will come back again.

Forgot to take pictures of our food because we were having so much fun. Be sure to reserve your lanes early, because the bowling alley has limited lanes and they fill up fast. The bowling scores are automatic, including names, so you literally do nothing but pick your ball and bowl. The games had shorter turns than expected, but still a good deal. The nice thing is that there is wait staff that come to your seats and you can drink decent beers, especially the local Dogfish Head! After the game, we went to the restaurant and got hamburgers, which were nothing revelatory but tasty. Everything was fresh, and out waiter was quite charming. There was a live band--A little loud, but they were actually good. The owner or possibly manager came around and talked to everyone and thanked them. Looks like a chain, is big and fancy, but has a locals vibe to it. A great time. I want to go back and try the axe throwing. Wish they would open up shop here in Alexandria, VA!

The service was great, the bartender made a very even Jameson and Coke. The Mac Daddy burgers(medium well, and medium rare) were amazing! The fries are delicious and the chips are an acquired taste.

What a great place to go hang out with friends! They have cool, comfortable, designer bowling lanes and seating for playing. Huge wrap around bar. Video games and when Skee Ball. We went to hear music and the band was great and so was the stage. They had a beautiful 20+ foot tall Christmas tree that really set off the stage's beauty. Will definitely return many more times! Our waitress Sammi was great and it was only her 2nd day! The food was hot and great!

Lefty's is more of an entertainment arena than a restaurant - at least in my mind. While the food, and drinks, at Lefty's are good, we don't go there to eat/drink. Lefty's has about 20 bowling lanes, a pretty decent sized arcade with many fun games, and an axe throwing area. They'll serve food, and drinks, to you while you're bowling. The wait staff are very friendly, nice, and professional. It also does have good food and a good bar. It's a great place for the entire family and a wide age range. There really is something for everyone there. I highly recommend going to Lefty's the next time you're in the area.

First experience with Axe Throwing and it won't be our last. Lefty's is simply awesome. Bowling, arcade games, fantastic bar, live music and of course Axe Throwing 🙂

This is a non traditional bowling center with an arcade room, laser tag room and axe throwing area. The lanes appear to be regulation in size, however the pinsetter equipment is not the usual AMF or Brunswick- it's US Bowling which uses a candlepin style "pins on a string" setup which is prone to its own shortcomings. Lanes don't appear to be plumb and the ball rolls as if the lane has convex or concave areas, drifting towards the gutters on slow rolls. Rates are on the pricey side, we paid $53 for a one hour lane and two shoe rentals... ouch. The arcade area is on the smaller side compared to other places like this and the games are the most expensive in the area. We dropped over $50 very quickly. There are four private party rooms off the back of the arcade and they are very busy on weekends with birthday parties- you MUST reserve well in advance. The sports bar area is first rate, drink prices are fair market. Mostly pub fare with a handful of entrees, salad and sandwich options. Kids meals are $7 and include one side- their portions seem decent. Overall it's a clean and modern facility with helpful and friendly staff- just be financially prepared to visit here. We spent over $150 for bowling, games and food for a party of three.

Half of the machines in arcade weren't working, hubby and son paid to bowl but their lane had so many issues they couldn't really at all. That visit was so bad but they tried to fix it by giving us a gift which I did appreciate. Used gift card on another trip, just at the restaurant. Half the staff seemed to be training because almost every server had someone shadowing. Waitress didn't know any drink specials and didn't come back to check on food. My grilled peach salad had very little dressing but still wasn't bad. The best thing there I had was the Cheesesteak Spring Rolls, very good but probably not worth going again for us.

Rode in planned ahead. Hard to get reservations on a Saturday. The appetizers were awesome. The entrees left something to be desired. Better seasoning might have helped. The desserts were ok. But not recommended for those who are not used to rich food. The bowling and arcade looked fun. Didn't get a chance to bowl. They had a band come before we left but didn't get the chance to listen. Might go back if in a group event or something.
