Absolutely love this park! We took the camper here for the first time. The campground is clean and quiet, with quick access to the playground area and nature trail. We always come over for Fourth of July weekend. Our boys love the water park and looking for animals. Definitely worthy of a visit if you want to get outside and don't feel like bothering with beach traffic.

Great vacation we rented 4 cabins. Cabins with our own shower and toilet was great, compared to cape henlopen, traps pond cabins. Also a full size fridge, air conditioning and a sink and stove. 10 minutes from grocery and liquor stores. Besides the humid weather it was a great experience and a great camp ground and cabins. Water park was a blast for the kids and adults. Yellow slide is great! Squirrels are not timid of people like they are up north.

DE State Park system is the best! Beautiful and clean. Our camp site was nestled under a canopy of trees with easy access to the pond (more like a small lake), hiking and biking trails. There is also a water park with pools and several water slides which the kids loved. The nature centure - animal displays are limited but it is a lovely building which offers a nice break from the heat. It's also a good spot to bring a picnic lunch because there are tables and chairs on a deck overlooking the water. They also offer rentals of kayaks, canoes, and peddle boats. A lovely park with a lot of amenities!

This park has a lot of nice features, ranging from hiking trails, event pavilions, camp grounds, boating and a water park. The trails are very long if you follow them around. We hiked the Yellow trail which wrnt around the entire pond. Highly recommended to get a map of the trails and park from the guard booth. You will need it if you want to hike deep into the trails.

Beautiful park! Camping spots were so spacious and woodsy! Hosts so helpful and kind. Registration process last minute was easy online. Nice hike around the pond, paddleboats for rent. More to see, we'll be back!

I love it here. Pretty centrally located and something for everyone. They have a water park, recreation park and covered bench area for get togethers and bbqs, disc golfing course, lakes for fishing and boating, plenty of trails and rv parks and campgrounds. They even have some cabins. There's a big metal walkway you can walk on or use to fish. This places has about three or four entrances so there's a bit of a learning curve but if you call and ask I'm sure they can help you find the right one for you. Please donate/pay when you enter unless you have a park pass which you can buy at the park center which is opened 8am-4pm. Cost to enter is 4$ but you won't have to pay during off season or if you leave and go to another entrance for another trail or something. They offer boat rentals that are decently priced. You need an adult with a driver's license to rent and you don't need cash you can pay with a card. They also provide life jackets of different sizes.

First time there as we are new to Delaware. It is 10 minutes from our home and my Grandkids can't wait for us to bring them back!! Oh yeah...the food at the concession sound was super yummy and the ices were a really good size for the price.

I photographed first day hikes Killens pond for the Delaware State News on January 1, 2022. Met One of the coolest chicks I’ve ever met in Delaware there and her photo ran on the front page of the Delaware State news the next day. We walked
through the woods together and it is very beautiful there, super tall trees with lush greens and orange and yellows. Even with there being an event there you could hardly tell because there are so many hiking trails that you easily found yourself alone in the woods for a calm collective moment to journal or take images ❤️

Priceless. There is a main path that takes you around the lake. The main path has many posts that helps direct you around the lake. There are 60 foot tall maple trees. Most impressive to see is this large aluminum bridge. The State has built a long aluminum foot bridge that allows you to see the whole lake.Worth the trip. Restrooms available. Plenty of parking. Small entrance fee.

A lovely park with RV, cabin, and tent sites as well as hiking trails, playgrounds, sports fields, and a nature center. It also has a water park that's open in the warmer seasons. We rented a cabin that has a small kitchen and a full bathroom. It's very comfortable and enjoyable for a few day's getaway from the city.
