We rented two homes from this company. The first was lovely. The second home we rented was disgusting. The carpets smelled like cat urine. There were holes in the carpets with exposed nails. They never fixed the holes from the 2 MONTHS we were there. They said they didn’t have to fix the urine issue after they cleaned and bombed it. The issue was still present and if you’re not aware, cat urine is not only disgusting but contains ammonia. We had a newly crawling infant in this home and they didn’t care about our families safety. The maintenance manager said she couldn’t smell it. My husband didn’t smell it upon inspection because they had car fresheners in the vents and the carpets were just cleaned. That masks the smell for a day or so and then it stops working. The owner Bert then came to inspect and said she smelled it but the only thing she could do was bomb it. I believe the urine had soaked through to the foundation of the home. When we moved out we had to throw out a lot of our furniture and children’s toys due to the damage they endured. We were treated so poorly by management and the owner during this situation. I throughly check reviews before renting homes and I really thought all remax’s were a safe place to rent. I would never rent through Bert again. She runs the Hinesville location as well I believe. I’ll be attaching images below. ☹ufe0f This was the worst 2 months of 2020 for us. I can’t explain the stress we went through. We’re so glad to have moved out.
