Great service and excellent workmanship. They made two very worn pairs of shoes new again. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

Very disappointed I went to put zipper on a pair of boots and he only did one zipper and he asked $45. He asked me for another $45 if I wanted a zipper on the other boot. It took more than three weeks not 10 days at he demanded to be waited for.

Great work, amicable guy, excellent service. Took some work boots in to get re-soled and the result was great, and when I brought them back in after peeling a sole partially off at work he had the shoe fixed and ready to go in under 20 minutes under warranty. Will definitely go again if I ever need the services.

We've been going to him for almost 20 years because of the quality of his work, fast turn around, and fair pricing. Great guy with a pleasant demeanor. There's nobody better!

Mr Simon is a shoe-maker. He examines your shoe, and tells you that you've maintained it properly (if you did.) I am a dancer. He has put suede soles on my dance shoes and leather pads on my "dance sneakers."

He started out being the very professional, competent, and friendly shoe repair guy. But now I’m happy to say he is my friend. He is caring, loyal and trustworthy.
I love supporting small local businesses; I can’t imagine taking my shoes anywhere else. I NEED him to stay around many more years so please support him. as you can see by the majority of reviews, you won’t be disappointed.

Had a pair of Danner Mountain Pass boots resoled. 1 year warranty on the new soles. Look good. Haven't really used them yet.
I delt with this shop before and will again.

Took a shoes that was never used just stored in a box for years until the bottom got soft. The repair man was very honest and advice to consider it a loss since no foundation to glue new part. I value those who protect their reputations. Highly recommended.

Had the same experience as another reviewer.
-Owner wanted to know where I got my shoes and price paid, then mocked me.
-Specifically requested for shoes to be re-soled, topied, and uppers simply cleaned. Wasn't ever discussed, but he decided to polish them which was NEVER discussed. He ended up polishing over the subtle but iconic branding on the shoes. These were meant to be worn casually, imagine just doing whatever you want to your customers items without getting consent, that's what you'll get here.
-The resole and topy were fine, if you only need a re-sole I suppose this place is ok, although you could do better mailing them to reputable shops instead of this place.
-Was told to come back in 7 days. Came back in the afternoon 7 days later and was told "Not ready, need another hour". Ok no problem, I came back 6 hours later to find that he literally JUST started working on these shoes that I dropped off to him s e v e n days ago. So my visit to the store 6 hours prior was a lie, he hadn't even started. Tells me it'll be about an hour and they'll be done, alright dude I have stuff to do, I'll be back tomorrow. They were done the next day when I came in. Albeit it's a different industry, my local tailor will tell me to come back in 7 days, and usually he's done in 2-4 days. He also works by himself, and looking at all the customer pick ups/drop offs, the tailor absolutely 110% has more work than this guy. He's just inefficient.
Wouldn't recommend unless you only need a resole, specifically request to not have the shoes cleaned, and don't have time to ship them off to a better company. Although if you have limited time, again, he is a poor choice to get your shoes re-soled.
1/5 wouldn't recommend. Send your shoes or boots to Railcar Fine Goods instead, you'll be glad you did.
