This place is so amazing 🤩 We have a camp site right next to the water which is number 74. It not far from the bathrooms or the shower houses. They have a beach for swimming with life jackets available for kids. We were told when we checked in we could use their life jackets or we could take one if we really needed it and don't have one. The camping sites aren't to small. I would definitely recommend this place for family or even just 2 people.

Duckett Mill Campground is one of the best laid out campgrounds we have ever visited. This is an ACOE campground which are usually nice , but the corp outdid themselves with this one! Almost all sites are sizable, private and waterfront. There are only 3 I’d be disappointed with. There is a nice beach. Bathrooms, though sparsely located, are clean with ample hot water. There are laundry facilities at the bathhouses. What could be considered drawbacks (depending on perspective) No TV service and very weak cell service. We have walked most of the campground and I have not noticed a playground. Great campground!

Duckett Mill Campground was a really nice Campground. Very clean and each campsite had a nice long driveway. Our family enjoyed seeing the lake from our campsite. That was a bonus, almost every campsite had a beautiful view of the lake.

Beautiful park with friendly staff!
We had site 66 which was spacious and on the end but so heavily overgrown, the lake wasn’t in view (as shown). Decent tree coverage to shade from the summer sun which was a plus!

My granddaughter recently camped here with friends on the weekend. She lost her iPhone. She had saved her money and bought that phone and was so distraught. They left the campground on Sunday but she had not found her phone. Find My app showed the phone to still be at Duckett Mill Campground. I drove her up there Monday morning prepared to search on the ground for the phone. I stopped at the office to tell them why I needed inthe campground. The lady asked my what the phone looked like. When I described it to her she pulled a phone from the shelf and it was my granddaughter’s phone! No damage to the phone. A huge shoutout to JARROD, an employee, for finding the phone and turning it in! You made my granddaughter’s day and you are a great example of being honest and doing the right thing! Much, Much appreciation to JARROD!!

Nice spot so ill give it one starts just for the set up but I have never been bothered so much by the rangers. We brought all the kids camping and had our boat. First of all, I only wanted to camp for two nights but they said it's the Holliday so I had to stay Friday-Monday for $80. Second, they made us pour out all of our beer we brought for the WHOLE weekend. They wouldnt let us put it on our boat or in our car. We had to pour it all out in front of them and he told me to open all the coolers so he could check and make sure it was gone. Now someone owes me some money. Who goes camping and doesn't have beer? I would understand if we were being loud or causing a problem but no they just seen it. Third, after we seen the fire works we came back to the camp sight and another ranger came out and asked us what we were doing and we needed to turn the boat off because quiet time is at 11 and it's 11:30. It's the 4th of July you should know when the fireworks end. Bad experience rude rangers or whatever they are called. I will not be coming back or sending anyone this way.

Just got home from what was supposed to be a weekend camping trip at Ducketts mill campground @ Lake Lanier . We stayed at campsite 40. Worst experience everrrrr! Very pretty park but the place where we stayed tents where almost on top of each other. Although they say they have a strict policy of quiet time after 10:30 we were up until almost 3am!! A group two tents down of young kids partying all night long!! Tried calling front desk but no answer! After they finally went to sleep after numerous people asking them to shutup ! I could literally hear the man next to our tent snoring ! Will def never go back! Weekend ruined 🤦♀️😩

Beautiful lake views but doesn't seem upkept very well... grass is very tall on most sites and the dumpsters were overflowing after just 2 days of our stay...

Beautiful landscape wonderfully placed on the lake no matter which side of the camp's ground that you're in
