The old school is closed, but the community has been keeping an eye on the property as well as utilizing the baseball field for responsible pop bagging dog owners. I've seen a man practicing his golf game, and RC cars racing around. People exercising have been using the track, and it seems like everyone has been picking up pet droppings, and taking their trash with them. I hope to enjoy the area for as long as possible, until the county finds purpose for the closed school and property. From the baseball field you have a gorgeous view of the Narrows. This utilization of the area is also reduces the opportunity for vandalism.
