I was a little disappointed because there was only 1 artist. I thought it would be more like Washington County Art museum. My fault for not researching it more. However, I was able to visit other areas. So a trip for the fun of it is never a waste if you explore. However, lots of potential.

For an organization that claims to represent the entire county, the Allegany Arts Council seems very Cumberland-centric. It's no wonder local support for this organization has dwindled over the past decade! Very disappointed.

Great source for local creativity and they love showcasing local artists as well as a wider variety. All types of art welcome it seems. They recently hosted a mini showcase of art from a local organization that provides support services to folks with unique developmental, physical, and rehabilitation needs. Glad to have them in my town.
