This review is based of two different nights. The first night we went for prime rib. The service was good, but the food was just OK. The escargot was delicious, and the berry tiramisu was phenomenal. However, the prime rib was just alright, there were pin bones in the walleye filet, and the mashed potatoes were terrible. The second night we came we sat in the bar area and it was very busy. That being said, our server Savannah did an excellent job and she was very hard working! This time we ordered the catfish and it was great! Overall, I would come back for the catfish, but probably not the “fine dining”.

We have eaten here several times with groups. Always timely service and friendly servers. Almost anything on their menu is very good and more about what the customer likes to eat. Very unusual art on the walls painted by one of the employees. All or for sale. Do yourself a favor and drop by for any meal.

I have eaten here 3 times now over a 4 year period. Best food and atmosphere anywhere in the area. Highly recommend. The loaded potato skins are huge, and absolutely delicious! I had a 10oz sirloin medium rare with steamed broccoli. Everything was flavorful and perfectly cooked. The service was excellent as well.

In Every Detail.
The Blackened Salmon is Pristine, also being that i have been working up here the past couple months, i have circled their menu, every entree is excellent!!! Appetizers Too!!!

This is the 2nd time we have eaten here. The first time was a few years ago and I remembered that we really liked the atmosphere, and the food was wonderful.
This time was different. We overheard a quick discussion about who was going to be our server and apparently the female that was supposed to do so had gone outside. A gentlemen got our orders and was very nice and accommodating. The food was just okay, not as great as we remembered. The art very interesting, the hostess obviously bored and we heard someone yell from the reception area..."There are more than enough bathrooms here"... Very odd statement for an employee to bellow out. Maybe next time will be better.

Absolutely amazing every time we eat there! Staff, food, atmosphere is just PERFECT! In our older years cooking is not so much fun since our kids are all grown and moved away. We love date night here every week and anytime we have guests visiting we always bring them here. Ted, Cody, Brandi, Emma, Wendy and ALL the gang are ready and willing to be at your service. So thankful for 178 Club!

We have travel over an hour to celebrate special family dinners at 178 Club and have always had excellent food and service even through the pandemic. This past Saturday we were there to celebrate Mother's Day when my Son-in-Law started having chest pains right after we ordered dinner. 178 Club staff was absolutely wonderful - they immediately called
911 for help and looked out for him even after medical personnel had arrived. They went above and beyond and we are ever so grateful to all their personnel for their caring assistance. My son-in-law had a heart stent procedure first thing Sunday morning and he is home today doing well. It is rare these days to find a restaurant with so much heart not to mention the best dining experience imaginable. Thank you 178 Club.

Had dinner with friends on 27th, 3 of us had the catfish was very good , 1 had the porkchop special, couldn't eat. Under cooked. Waitress tried everything to please, was very helpful and pleasant. Except for that was good. Special Thanks to Morgan who was wonderful.

Nice Local Spot. Prices are decent. Friendly Faces and food good enough to take home in a doggy bag. There bowling and arcade games. AND mom doesn't need to do the dishes!!
