Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship is a rural province in south-central Poland that's commonly called Holy Cross Province. Spanning the Świętokrzyskie mountain range, it's known for Świętokrzyski National Park, a nature preserve crisscrossed with hiking and skiing trails. Atop Lysa Góra (Bald Mountain), a roughly 595m peak, are pagan ruins and the reconstructed Holy Cross Monastery, first built during medieval times.
